• Bearing Witness – the practice of bearing witness to things as they are, including all forms of joy and suffering in our world
• Loving Action – effective, compassionate and sustainable action grounded in not knowing and bearing witness

Peacemaker Institute has organized Bearing Witness Retreats, including Street Retreats and the Rwanda Retreat, which are designed to address and transform the roots of violence in our societies. From family violence, to urban crime, to genocide and war. We seek to shift individuals, communities, organizations and institutions from scarcity to abundance thinking and from win/lose to win/win and partnership paradigms.
