Our peacemaker training is holistic and nonsectarian and is delivered in a context of experiential community learning, peer relationships, and respect for the background, experience, and needs of each participant.
The IPT is designed for professionals & volunteers engaged in:
Peacework, Conflict Resolution, Community Building, Engaged Spirituality, Restorative Justice, Prison Work, Sustainable Resources, Environmental Issues, International Relations, Organizational Development, Urban Issues, Social Action & Activism, Social Justice, Human Rights, Economic Development & Relief Work or anyone interested in connecting mind, body, heart, & spirit to create peace in relationships, groups, communities, systems & ourselves!

Our certificate training consists of these requirements which must be completed in a two year period:
(see right):These four core trainings are highly experiential and transformative. Each intensive workshop will consist of three full days (Friday-Sunday(9am-6pm approx) of training plus a Thursday evening introduction to the training. (NOTE: In 2008, these core component workshops will be moving to a Friday night intro and two days: Saturday and Sunday full day training). The workshops do not need to be done in order and are open to the public as well. The series wil lbe repeated yearly, approximately 3 months apart in Boulder, Colorado. These trainings are grounded in the Three Tenets of the Peacemaker Community (not knowing, bearing witness, & loving action), the recognition of the basic goodness and sacredness of all life; and, the all quadrants, all levels, all lines (AQAL) integral approaches developed by Ken Wilber and the Integral Institute.
with Purna Steinitz & Fleet Maull (held once a year in Boulder CO) OR (held yearly in Denver and other cities). This requirement can be completed before enrollement in the Certificate Training within the two year limit. Cost for The Event is $295-$325. Cost for the Street Retreat runs $108-up.
workshop with a certified CNVC trainer (the Colorado Peacemaker Institute presents several NVC workshops every year with certified trainers). This requirement can also be completed prior to registration in the training within the two year limit. Costs for NVC workshops run through the Peacemaker Institute run generally $195-$295 per weekend.
